I bought a flower shop.

If you just re-read that and double-checked whose account you’re looking at—yes, you read that correctly. After months of consideration, long conversations with my best friend and family, and a whole lot of daydreaming, I decided to take a leap and purchase an existing business in my hometown, HANOVER, KANSAS right on Main Street, USA.

I named her The Farmer’s Daughter. She’s always been a flower and gift shop (my grandma even started working here back in 1996), but as many of you know, coffee has been a longtime love of mine—so we gave her a little facelift and added in espresso. And after seven days of business, I can officially say: "Honey, we're home."
