Creative Team Member at The Farmer's Daughter

Position: Part-Time Creative Team Member
Location: The Farmer’s Daughter - Hanover, KS
Compensation: Based on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Floral Design & Customer Service: Assist with daily floral orders, deliveries, and consultations for events such as weddings, funerals, and workshops. Provide exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone.
  • Coffee & Retail: Prepare and serve coffee drinks, ensuring high-quality presentation and service. Maintain and merchandise retail displays.
  • Plant Care & Shop Upkeep: Participate in daily upkeep of the shop, including houseplant and floral care and overall organization.
  • Social Media & Content Creation: Contribute to our online presence by creating engaging social media content, managing customer communications, and helping to build our digital community.
  • Event Participation: Support team efforts during events, workshops, and other special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Creativity and a passion for floral design, small business, NO prior experience in floral design of barista experience necessary. BUT MUST BE COACHABLE + TRAINABLE.
  • A positive, outgoing attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Interest in social media, digital marketing and content creation, with a willingness to grow and learn in this area.
  • Coachable, adaptable, and eager to take on new challenges in a multi-faceted business environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
