Over the past year, I felt this quiet pull to create something that was truly my own — something my customers couldn’t find anywhere else. I wanted a line that felt one-of-a-kind, rooted in memory, layered with meaning, and made with the same intention and heart that fills our little shop on Main Street.

But I also wanted something that wasn’t just about me.
I wanted something that belonged to all of us — to every farmer’s daughter who grew up between open fields and wide skies, to every woman shaped by small towns, strong families, and the winding chapters of life.

And in the most small-town Kansas twist of fate, the right partner arrived at exactly the right moment.

Her name is Cayla Hogan, owner of La Lueur candles — and someone who very quickly became a friend. What began as a simple collaboration turned into one of those beautiful, serendipitous connections you can’t make up. As we started dreaming and blending and storytelling, we discovered that Cayla had roots in this area too. Two women — strangers turned friends — connected through scent, heritage, and the magic of the Midwest.

Together, we crafted a collection that holds more than fragrance.

Because when I sat down to design these scents, I realized something:

Then comes the era of becoming.

Palomino is the chapter of grit and confidence — the girl who learned courage in dusty arenas, who grew up on backroads and summer skies, who discovered her voice, her strength, and her independence. It’s a nod to every farmer’s daughter who learned resilience from the land and bravery from experience.

This scent is freedom with a backbone — warm, grounded, and full of spirit.

Every farmer’s daughter eventually faces a chapter that stretches her — a season of change, leaving home, trying something new, or rebuilding from the unexpected. For me, that chapter was Arizona. For others, it might be college, a move, a heartbreak, or simply stepping into a new version of themselves.

Sonoran Storm captures that moment right before everything shifts — the smell of rain on hot earth, the electric air, the cleansing, transformative beauty of a storm.

It’s the reminder that change can be sacred, and sometimes we find ourselves in the middle of letting go.
